Top Ten Tuesday: Ten books i'd definitely watch as TV shows
TOP TEN TUESDAY
Top ten books I want to be TV shows
Ranger’s apprentice
By
John Flanagan
PLEASE
There are at least eleven books and it would make a
glorious TV show. Halt and Will and Horace sassing each other during fights. Yes
definitely. It would be brilliant.
Skulduggery Pleasant
By
Derek Landy
Because apparently there is no other way for me to know the
story of the last five books since my library refuses to get them.
Seriously
why is Derek Landy so criminally under read? It’s terrible. Again there would
be much sass and quips and of course Death.
Though since Skulduggery is already technically dead we could be marginally
sure that he would survive in a physical sort of way. Mentally though who
knows.
Agatha Christie
All Of Them
Basically I need a TV show that stars one of her mysteries
every week. Her plot twists are the only ones I can’t see coming and she is, Like Derek Landy, criminally under read by my generation.
Drizzt Do’Urden
Essentially there was a lovely little series called the
forgotten realms by a clever little author named R. A. Salvatore. This clever
little author created one of the most interesting characters in the world and I
DEMAND a tv show with him in it. I don’t even care about anything else just
Drizzt.
Six of Crows
By
Leigh Bardugo
and hopefully the six more books that come afterword’s
Six of Crows is full of heists and backstabbing and crime.
AKA
It would make a lovely TV show that would be filled with wonderful character
development and lots of Kaz. Preferably at least five or six episodes devoted
to Kaz. Pretty please.
Lunar Chronicles
By
Marissa Meyer
Because it would basically be a futuristic Once Upon a Time.
Hopefully it wouldn’t become so character bloated that my poor head would
explode and several episodes would go
by with no sign of the main character. Why Once Upon a Time why?
Eragon
by
christopher paolini
Because this abomination actually happened
Maybe just maybe it would make up for this. I would
love to see Angela as her wonderful redheaded bubbly self in the tv version. She
was too fabulous for that movie anyway. Not to mention Arya because that blonde
chick was definitely not an elf.
Artemis Fowl
By
Eoin Colfer
It's about a skinny evil geniuses who wish to rule the world
also tech savvy fairies and IRELAND! what more could
you want?
Maximum Ride
By
James Patterson
I can only speak for the first three because I felt like Max
and Co really should have taken their leave after the third one. Problem is James
Patterson has literally no idea when to stop. Still winged teenagers, government
conspiracies, and creepy secret testing facilities would make for a really fun
show.
Kane chronicles
By
Rick Riordan
Because Kane Chronicles was amazing and this TV show would
be far out of the reach of the fools who made the Percy Jackson Movie. You know the one I refuse to accept exists.
